How to Set Up Terraria Server

Here is a guide on how to set up your Terraria server using the HardGaming website. If you have not already set up a HardGaming account, you will need to do that before you can set up your server.

  1. Navigate to HardGaming website:

  2. Select "Game Hosting" from the left side panel:

  3. Select the Terraria tile:

  4. Choose a plan:

    • Starter plan: for players who plan to enjoy the game solo.
    • Premium plan: for players who plan to play with a team.
    • Custom plan: for players who want a more personalized plan.

  5. Configure your server:

    • Name your server

    • Configuration Settings

      Terraria VersionSelect which version of Terraria you want your server to run
      World NameSet the name of the world, which is also used as the save file name
      Max PlayersSet the maximum number of players allowed to join your server
      World SizeSet the world size: 1 (Small), 2 (Medium), or 3 (Large)
      DifficultySet the world difficulty: 0 (Classic), 1 (Expert), 2 (Master), or 3 (Journey)
      MOTDSet the Message of the Day displayed to players when they join
      World SeedEnter a seed to use when generating the world (leave blank for random)
      PasswordSet the password required to join the server

    • Once your settings are configured, press the "Next" button. Don't worry, you can change these later.

  6. Select Payment Method

    • Enter a new payment method SecurePaymentNewCard

    • Or select a previously saved card SecurePaymentPreviousCard

    • If you have a coupon, add it before submitting payment. Select "Apply Coupon Code", enter your code, and select "Submit" to apply it. Coupon1 Coupon2

    • Once your card information is filled in, select "Submit Secure Payment" SubmitSecurePayment
