How to Set Up Factorio Server#

Here is a guide on how to set up your Factorio server using the HardGaming website. If you have not already set up a HardGaming account, you will need to do that before you can set up your server.

1. Navigate to the HardGaming website:

2. Select "Game Hosting" from the left side panel:

   

3. Select the Factorio tile:

   

4. Choose a plan:

   • Starter plan: for players who plan to enjoy the game solo.
   • Premium plan: for players who plan to play with a team.
   • Custom plan: for players who want a more personalized plan.

   

5. Configure your server:

   • Name your server

     

   • Configuration Settings

     Setting	Description
     Factorio Version	Select which version of Factorio you want your server to run
     Save Name	Set the save name for your server
     Server Token	Enter your factorio.com token so that your server is visible in the public server list
     Server Description	Enter a description that tells players about your server
     Server Username	Set the username for the server
     Auto Save Interval	Set how many minutes between each auto save
     Auto Save Slots	Set the number of auto save slots to keep
     AFK Kick	Set the number of minutes before a player is kicked for being AFK

     

   • Once your settings are configured, press the "Next" button. Don't worry, you can change these later.

6. Select Payment Method

   • Enter a new payment method

   • Or select a previously saved card

   • If you have a coupon, add it before submitting payment. Select "Apply Coupon Code", enter your code, and select "Submit" to apply it.

   • Once your card information is filled in, select "Submit Secure Payment"
