How to Enable DLC Content on Your Server

Want to unlock DLC content on your Abiotic Factor server? Only one player needs to own the DLC. Once it's enabled, all players on your server can access the content, even if they don't own it themselves.

Here's how to get it set up.

What You'll Need#

• At least one player who owns the DLC on Steam, PlayStation, or Xbox.
• That player must be added as an admin on your server.

Step 1 - Add the DLC Owner as an Admin#

The player who owns the DLC needs to have admin privileges on your server. If that's you, and you're already an admin, skip to Step 2.

If the DLC owner is someone else on your team, add their SteamID64 to the Admin.ini file through your HardGaming dashboard. Our admin guide walks you through this step by step.#

Step 2 - Join the Server#

Have the DLC owner connect to your server while they have admin privileges. That's it. The DLC content will automatically enable and become available for all players.

Good to Know#

• Only one player needs to own the DLC. Once they join as admin, the content unlocks for the entire server.
• The DLC stays active. The DLC owner doesn't need to be online for the content to remain available. Once it's been enabled, it persists on the server.
